“What can I do?” is an important question.  The work of Bonisa Mission would be impossible without the involvement of supporters and helpers. Since its greatest need is for the blessing of God Himself, the first call is for your prayer. You can also be involved in various other ways.

Magazine

Regional Committees

Volunteer committees are being organized in various areas to promote awareness of the work of Bonisa and receive funds to support projects. They distribute and sell materials as well as arrange events, such as speaker evenings, concerts, presentations, and fundraising activities. Objectives

The objective of Bonisa Mission is to promote the translation, dissemination, and proclamation of God's Word, as well as to provide material assistance wherever the Lord opens doors (1 Cor. 16:9).  Bonisa serves and equips local Christian churches in providing spiritual and material aid. Projects are established, carried out, and completed with the supervision of Bonisa representatives. Current Bonisa Projects cover five areas.

1. Bible and Literature Distribution

  • Distributing Bibles in several languages, such as the tribal languages of the Lisu, Lahu, Miao, Yi, Jingpo, Dai, and Wa people.
  • Distributing Christian literature.

 

2. Supporting Churches

  • Supporting Bible Schools for the training of ministers and evangelists
  • Supporting Tent-makers and pastors
  • Building churches

 

3. Providing medical support

  • Supporting Medical clinics in poverty-stricken areas
  • Supporting homes for handicapped children
  • Providing care for the blind and aged
  • Providing care in leper villages

 

4. Providing structural support

  • Helping village elementary schools and dormitories
  • Building bridges
  • Digging wells

 

5. Providing disaster relief

  • Providing relief in Droughts
  • Providing relief after Earthquakes
  • Providing relief after Flooding
  • Providing relief after Snowstorms
